But what the word Ayyanna really means, you ask.

The name’s originating from an old monotheistic belief of Oromo people, Waaqeffannaa.

According to Waaqeffannaa there are five Utubas (cores) of it, which are serving as base of Waaqeffannaa religon. These are Waaqaa, Ayyanna, Nama, Waayyuu amd Safuu.

Ayyanna is the way through which Waaqaa creates everything. There used to be given Ayyanna (spirit) of Waaqaa, for every nature. Ayyanna is considered as a madiator between Waaqaa and nature, as well as it is accepted as a manifestation of Waaqaa's will in them.
